GAZA, Oct. 12 (Xinhua) -- At least four Palestinians were killed and dozens injured by Israeli soldiers' gunfire in clashes that broke out on Friday with Palestinian protesters in the Gaza Strip, medics said.
Ashraf al-Qedra, the health ministry spokesman in Gaza, said in a press statement that Ahmad al-Taweel, 27 years old, Mohamed Ismail, 29, and another one whose identity is currently unknown were shot dead by Israeli soldiers' gunfire east of al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza Strip.
He added that a fourth Palestinian was shot dead east of Rafah town in southern Gaza Strip, close to the border.
Al-Qedra added that 38 Palestinians were injured in the 29th Friday of the "Great March of Return" which began on March 30.
