BANGKOK, May 13 (Xinhua) -- Eleven Thai political parties which won 1 seat each in Thailand's elections said on Monday that they would vote for current Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha to be elected as new prime minister.
The eleven parties also said they support pro-Prayut party Palang Pracharath, which won 115 seats, to lead a coalition government, and they would join the coalition government.
Some 500 elected members of the House of Representatives of Thailand's National Assembly, together with 250 senators selected by the National Council for Peace and Order led by Prayut, would soon vote the new prime minister.
